I started my digital journey with the idea to write books for readers who wanted to learn computers. With background knowledge in this area, I noticed the new ICDL syllabus had not been covered at the time and so set about writing eBooks and paperbacks to fulfil this need.
My aim was to provide a collection of easy-to-follow, step-by-step guides readers could use in their own time, at their own pace, anywhere that suited them.
I produced each book cover with a range of colourful, easily recognisable designs so readers could identify the titles at a glance. Formatting the interior layout proved more difficult, even with knowledge of word processing software.
I created a selection of accompanying downloadable practice files readers could use while working through each book for convenience and efficiency, making the learning process less of a challenge.
I hope you benefit from reading and utilising the information provided in each book. Whether you are using one of the books from a beginner’s perspective or are progressing towards a more advanced level, my overall goal is that the material contained within each book helps you on your own, personal digital journey.
